After clearing out a bunch of CDs on ebay, I dug out The Verve - yes, Bitter Sweet Symphony
This is actually pretty cool.

Erg, that's not old! I still have, like, the best of Elton John 1979-1986 or something. Back in that interim period when he wasn't working with Bernie Taupin, and as such, well and truly sucked.
And The Hunchback of Notre Dame soundtrack. Yes, the Disney one. I still don't know why I haven't sold that off yet.

Pffft! Come talk to me when you find old cassettes of Rick James, Heatwave, The Gap Band, and the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. =Pnailz1000 wrote:After clearing out a bunch of CDs on ebay, I dug out The Verve - yes, Bitter Sweet Symphony

...and I was talking embarrassing CDs, by the way. The oldest CD I have by publish date is... I think... Simon & Garfunkel's best-of. Which I still listen to, thank you. Or the Monkees best-of. Not so often for that one. Or ABBA Gold. Anyhow you get the idea...
Heh, it's just bizarre to hear people yelling "OMG OMG HOLY CRAP IS THAT OLLLLLLDDDDD" about songs that came out when I was in college.
People will be saying that about today's music someday, you know.
;P

Old music
I have 'Star Wars, and other Galatic Funk' on Vynle (from 1977), along with alot of other Vynle records. My mother has a collection of records that is freaky scary.
I have some old tapes but they are just stuff I taped off the radio, before I could afford actual tapes.
I actually got into CDs late. First CDs I had were the Phantom of the Opera 2 CD box set, and I didn't have a CD player at the time.
