I don't really see what's amusing you.

"Sannhet I Blodet" ("Truth in Blood") was actually the name of their first demo which had the same tracks as the EP entitled "Dommedagsnatt".
And considering their Bandname and their lyrics which are as well linked to Norwegian history and Norse mythology it doesn't seem weird to me that they had Runes on their cover.

Alright, it's rather unusual for a doom metal band to use these topics, but afterall Runhild Gammelsæter actually is Norwegian and was only for a limited time in Seattle. I'd rather have a doom metal band with ancient aesthetics than another gay humpa band
