No sleep for Vic. The AUSA 2008 AMV Contest rules are on the website and we are accepting submissions now. The con is soon, so deadline is soon. Send 'em in!

I'll try to get something done. I have made an AMV in a year and a half now.

I think my old editing partner from back when I first started has helped me rediscover what I was missing.

The rules have been amended and AUSA will now be accepting trailers. I don't know how long it will take for the new rules to be posted but here is the amendment:

Trailers, TV openings, commercial parodies, etc. will be accepted into the trailer category. However, do not include any copyrighted studio logos or credits in your entry. This includes but is not limited to studio logos, television show logos, product logos, film credits and TV station watermarks. Doing so will be immediate grounds for disqualification. Any logo that you create yourself is perfectly fine, even if it is a parody of the original studio logo. If you're not sure, submit early and ask us!

As a courtesy to those that were wrongfully removed from the Otakon competition, I will forward your entry into the AUSA contest without a submission form/re-upload of your file. Just e-mail me or PM me letting me know your studio/video title, and I will enter your video for you based on the copy that Otakon received. If you need to change your entry (remove logos and stuff) then you will need to submit as normal.
