Did I hear you right today, DP? No chair for the grand prize winner? Why not? It's a truly unique prize that helps make AX's contest unique, and encourages entries...

Actually Sakura-Con also give one away for the grand prize

Huh?? Unless I've been under a rock, there hasn't been a chair in years.

Er... then again, I have missed quite a few contests since 2004... Still, I don't recall seeing a director's chair since the Kevin Caldwell years.

Yeah I don't remember there being a chair within at least the last two years. I really do miss that as a prize though, it was something truley unique.

Really? Hmmm maybe then I just lucky you did the past two years that I won it

I do miss the clap boards with the autographs though this year... kind of stands out more then the trophies

They've given out a chair every year i've gone since 2002. I don't know if they did last year because i've decided not to attend AX anymore. That is very surprising to hear. One of the major reasons i've entered the ax contest was for the chair. One of the reasons i would enter again so long as the contest gets back on track.
