Living so Far away
Hey just curious, because I live in hawaii its not like we have many Anime conferences. How do I/is it possible, to send my vids to other contests other then the one we have here in hawaii?

Almost all conventions will take entries through the mail. You'd have to burn your video onto CDs or DVDs - just make sure you're copying the files to your media, instead of authoring a VCD or DVD. Some conventions will set up an FTP site, allowing you to upload your video, too. You don't have to attend to enter - there are some outstanding creators in Europe that send in their AMVs to American conventions.

well, yes, I live in Hawaii too and have entered oodles of contests already (not like I won anything, but still). Some take online entries, some take mail entries - you'd just have to read the rules.
