Ok I have never entered in a AMV contest so if you could please explain it to me and what category or type when i enter mine should I send it in?

I will need hosting if you only want MPG or high quality AMVs or I could use RM which most people here dont like and i could host that. Also I am new at this so is there some kind of category I should put mine in?
