AnimeNEXT Deadline - August 29th

Just a friendly (new) reminder that the deadline for AnimeNEXT's anime music video contest is in just about two and a half weeks... Friday, August 29th. This is a RECEIVED-BY date, not a postmark date ^^;;

Why would you want to enter? Multiple screenings of the AMV contest, 2nd year convention, and.. uh.. I'm running it! :D

For those of you who sent in entries and/or have personally handed them to me, I'll send out "offcial" e-mails later... I have indeed gotten & tested them, though (you know who you are).

On a similar subject, AnimeNEXT will be holding its anime music video panel on the Sunday afternoon of the convention (this would be October 5th). Panelists include myself (Michael "VegettoEX" LaBrie), Meredith "Meri" Cantoni, and we're 99% sure that jbone and mckeed will be joining us up front at the table :D.

Yay! I entered ^^ Hope you enjoy me and Anneke's stuff ^^ I'm gonna try and drive up for a day or so (probably Saturday) to see the AMV contest and if the AMV panel is that day then that too. Good luck, and I'll cross my fingers for you for more submissions. *crosses fingers*

Maybe I'll "troll" the AMV I'm also making for AWA Expo, since that's the only possible video I'll get done before then

Hmmm. I'll have to think a bit about what to send. If I'm lucky and have Fahrrad done on time I could send it... but I dunno how well an AMV entirely in German would go over

I'll definitely send in something, though!

I hardly think a video for AWA Expo would be "trolling" at AnimeNEXT, which is only a couple weeks later :P

For the contest, no.

For a separate viewing specifically set up for trailers, yes.
