It's more like 3-4 hours (2 tapes worth) of actual AMVs plus time for a lunch break, intermissions, and trips to the potty. :-)

If UMCP is too far south for some submitters, I'm also arranging for two smaller (max 12-15 people) mini-screenings in King of Prussia, PA and in NYC. (These will be just in people's houses, not on a college campus.)

I'm gonna put a lotta miles on my car this month... :(

Heh. That's about what we all sat through at prescreening at ACen last month..
start time: 7:30 pm
end time: 3:30 am
total breaks: 30 minutes

That's only like 60 AMVs (assuming 4 minutes each average), does that mean each prescreening won't be watching through all of the AMVs, just half of them or so? ACen got like 110, I'd figure Otakon should be getting at least that many, and likely more...

Sweet! Where do we sign up for those before they fill up? I'd been considering either the UMCP or King of Prussia one, but if there's one in NYC that would be just perfect- a 40 minute train ride beats 3-7 hours in a car anyday (even if it is on a less-than-comfortable Metro North train...).

Given the only Pasadena I know of is in SoCal... a very very long ways. Basically, the three locations are in the vicinity of Washington D.C., New York City, or about halfway inbetween...
