Anime Expo Deadline Extension (May 1 postmark, May10 arrive)

Anime Expo has just announced a short extension to their AMV postmark deadline. To those of you who needed an extra day or two, you've got it.

Your video must now be in the mail before or on May 1st.

Greetings!!

In the spirit of 'we've got alot of people who seems to not quite
have their Vids finished and would like to turn them in anyway',
and 'its Kat's B-Day today', the AX Directors are extending the
postmark deadline to May 1. This means more work for us, we know.
But it's worth it. However, please note, we are not extending the
Recieval date. If you send a vid to us on the first and it doesn't
reach us until the eleventh, then you're outta luck. Sorry guys, but
that would actually hinder us being able to get pre con work finished
on time.

So, any of you last minuters, finish those vids and get them sent out
ASAP. Sorry we didn't post this on the website yet. It's a last
minute thing. Please spread the word.

Those Evil Commie Bastards!

I missed going to the gym last night, so I could rush around in a panic to send my tapes off. The guy at the UPS Store (Formally Mailbox Etc...) Even opened up the store an entire hour after he had closed for the night, so I could send the package off with the correct post mark!
