PersaCon AMV Competition (Excuse the short notice)

How it works:

- All videos will be pre-screened for content.
- Any videos that are found to have explicit content will be disqualified.
- Videos submitted will be judged in a preliminary round before the competition.
- Video showcase, during which con-goers will vote, will take place on Friday night.
- Winners will be announced and awards will be given on Saturday night.


Rules:

1. All videos must be submitted by June 10th.
2. Videos must have content within a G to PG-13 rating
3. Videos must be submitted with a completed entry form
4. Videos must be submitted in a universally accepted format, such as .avi
- .mp4 preferred, mpeg2, avi and wmv acceptable.
- 720x480 and 1280x720 resolutions accepted
5. NO subtitles, watermarks, credits, etc. in video or it will be disqualified.
- Exceptions to this rule is for editor generalized subtitles for purpose of enhancing project. Ex. to emphasize song lyrics

For submissions please use sites such as megaupload.com to upload your videos and include the link in your submission email.

First, thank you to all who submitted, we had some really good vids this year.

As for the results, well . .
all vids received were shown and winners will be posted soon. (sorry, i know how it is waiting on results)
Unfortunately i was not running the contest but just the .org liaison so am awaiting word from the staff myself.

For me, it's not even a "did I win?" thing. I don't expect to, I just want to know if it was shown 'cause I like to debut them here and on the tube at the same time as they debut at a convention.
