Vids with "unnecessary text" are heavily scrutinized, by me especially. However, because I'm so militant against text, I have my staff confirm my DQs to keep me in check.

I was overruled on Rider's vid. :P

Wow, I can't believe it had to be overruled...I've seen some poor use of purposed subtitling text and that was not it. Then of course the videos with the hard coded subs that are obvious DQs :o

There was a lot in this contest that surprised me, but the reaction to Special Eyes (which was made forever ago, and never intended for contests) *really* caught me off guard. *Really.*

I wanted to take the time to say "Thank you" for creating a bonus award for it based on audience reaction; it really wasn't necessary, but it definitely was appreciated.

I know I was dying. And when he was setting up that there was going to be another winner I know I muttered 'Special eyes!!' And I literally just posted it as a comment to someone who couldn't make an eye appointment today.

Troy hates anything with text in it. He didn't like the crazy thing called love video in Romance

So in other words, even if I hadn't screwed up the AVISynth script and had managed to properly replace my video's subliminal message "OBEY JINGORO" with "OBEY TROY" like I had tried to, it still wouldn't have saved it? Oddly comforting if true. :P
