AWA14 Pro - closed - Judging discs in early Aug

Sorry about that, I started going through and pruning accounts that appeared to be fully uploaded. Email 'em to me at vattechnical@gmail.com if you (or I) have closed out the ftp account already.

When I already uploaded a video file. For how long is the entry status "pending"?

I´m not impatient, I just want to make sure that there shouldn´t be any other status when I uped the vid. I´m afraid that something could be wrong.

After your vid was received and tested, the status "Pending" will change to "Playable". This will take some days.

Did you go to "My Contest Entries", click on your video title, and then press the button at the bottom? Because I did that and right now my video status is at "RECEIVED".

I'm trying to enter a video, but it says Pro is closed for submissions. Isn't the FTP request deadline tonight at midnight ?

There, backlog of emails and website stuff handled. Sue me, it's my birthday and I slept in a bit =)

Status key:

PENDING - You've entered but I'm waiting on the FTP upload or a mailed package
RECEIVED - Duh.
PLAYABLE - Audio? Check. Video? Check. Beginning and end? Check.

Things get a little non-linear at this point. ON_DISC probably means that the video has been verified to be (and/or converted to be) DVD compatible for any contest that requires as such, or Netstream MPEG2 compatible otherwise. At this point I've probably watched it all the way through on said hardware to give it a clean bill of health. NOTE: Expo vids may not make it to this stage for a very long time, since the judging process requires additional work that may delay this final step. NOT_PLAYABLE means there was an issue somewhere in the conversion process and you'll be contacted.

MISSING indicates that a deadline has passed with nothing to show. Meaning I cut off the ftp account and the folder was still empty, the deadline (like today) passed and an ftp account was never created nor has a package showed up, etc. REMOVED is obvious. NO_FORM is exclusive to the Pro contest and is mutually exclusive to ON_DISC.
