AWA 13 (2007) Contest Rules: The Short Version

If I'm not mistaken, since they're all judged by him alone, there isn't a restriction...but I could be wrong.

Same rules that apply to the rest of the contests/convention. It's fair game, but we will not be able to show such content during daylight hours (which includes the awards show).

I plan on submitting my videos via FTP; they're going to be .avi files with a HuffYUV codec. My question is, should I mux the audio to the video, or just RAR/ZIP the .wav with the video and let you guys do the muxing?

No, you don't need to be present to win. Naturally, we prefer that you are, but it doesn't even enter into consideration during judging.

I didn't see anything about blank leaders before and after one's video in the rules; I remember AWA having rules about this in the past. Do we still have to include any?

I don't remember exactly where in the rules it was, but somewhere in there I read the wanted 2 seconds of leader.

One or two seconds of black before and after never hurts. I personally have not seen the original issues that prompted those requirements in the first place but better safe than sorry.

Never mind, I found it... but it was only listed under the Pro rules, not Expo or Masters. I guess we have to assume that it applies for all three.

I accidently put 10
