Hey, that's fine. We'd take anything from Pro and play it at AnimeNext, so long as it's new (and not something like, at a big con, THEN at Pro, and THEN AnimeNext). Share the love! We have like, 8 whole submissions at the moment!

Hehe, nah, the AMVs I'm sending to AWA this year will all be debuts. I haven't made other videos since Sappy Self-Indulgence

So if you don't mind the fact that they'll show at AWA first, then I'll definitely send some stuff your way. Although...my Pro video is only like 1:10, so it won't help pad out your contest too much
I have no idea how to use this new forum.

Hmmm...blame Vlad. He needed entries so I obliged. Then again, I can't complain about winning a contest prior to Otakon so meh :-P. Although I did feel a bit bad winning prior ot Otakon, but the deadlines overlapped so meh.

In all seriousness though, you guys have very tough guidelines for trolling (and I am the first to admit that there are no rules, it's up to the editor. Live and let live.). I usually send a video to a contest and depending on that result, submit to one or two more. Glory lost at ACen and thus sent to Otakon. Vlad's contests were sort of out of nowhere.

So yeah, in conclusion, I personally have no gripes with you guys submitting to two contests and I don't think Meri or Mike would mind.

I'm currently debating if I should submit "Evolution" to their's since they have well...8 entries.

We have eight entries, yes... but the deadline's not until the 29th. We all know what it's like to postpone until the last day to get submissions :P

I'm sure most contest organizers will tell you that they get all their entries in the last few days before the deadline (and then even after that).

Problem is - if I sent my Pro video in, Mike would then know which Pro video was mine ><

I don't think you need to worry about that, since you're already more or less screwed. :P Last year, we were able to guess which one was your Pro entry, based on style, and this year, you've already told us what category you're entering. So, we'll probably end up guessing which one is yours, regardless of if you submit to AnimeNext. :P Send, send!

Hell, the guessing game for AWA Pro is half the fun, but that's a whole other story entirely...
