Ironically, AX was the first con I entered anything into a contest... Was the first time I won someting in a contest...

Ahh yes... AX2002's AMV contest continues to be the standard of fail that no other AMV contest has yet to outfail.

And I recall back in 1999 the AMV contest started uber late and didn't conclude until 3am or sometime ridiculous due to a crucial audio board vaporizing during the prior event.

Really bad things seem to happen on years when I enter something.

Yeah it ran crazy late, which was true for the judging as well just due to the sheer number of entries.

I'm going to stop reminiscing about this now, it's making me feel old and now we've gone drastically off topic from Iron Chef.
