you really shouldn't attempt to do 4 or even 3 contests next year. There is no way you're gonna get enough entries to have them be a success. Honestly, I think that it would be best if you stick to just 1 "main" contest next year and focus all your time and energy into making it as good as possible. Battle of the greats could be something that you do every other year (like how AWA does the Masters competition)

I understand what you are saying. However if Neko is going to be strict on what we show in the main contest. Then I have to make it 18+ just for a PG-13 contest. They want a contest played during the day so it would have to be PG despite them telling me PG-13 for the daytime contest. sigh...
I'm going to have a serious talk with them just so we can get the details ironed out.

Out of curiosity, how will you handle "battle of the greats" starting next year? Do you plan to only allow vids with a certain amount of awards since 2014, or is it basically the plan to allow any video with a set amount of awards so long as it hasn't been entered into BotG previously? I can imagine potential problems with both.

Wouldn't having too many contests cheapen the medium?
It's like there are too many chances to grab a trophy or few in one stroke.
And someone has to pay for those awards.

So the AMVs that I wanted to get in, didn't get in, but the one I didn't care too much about got in.
