They're dead, but you should have received a new email right about now with a replacement .torrent.Gene Starwind 21122 wrote:I'm having problems downloading parts 1 and 2 from the direct links. Are they down right now?
I'm very sorry, but I cannot offer direct downloads with the new distribution.

I just really don't like bittorent. I used it in the past and it put some malicious software on my computer. That was the free version. I paid for the Plus this time. Hoping I willn't get any viruses from using it.
No matter what, stay calm, stay cool and live life to the fullest.
Plus as Gene would say always go big in life.

Both uTorrent and Azureus come bundled with spamware... you must be VERY careful declining all the "offers". I wish I had a better solution... anyone care to recommend a BT client without this bull!@#$?Gene Starwind 21122 wrote:I just really don't like bittorent. I do not expect a better mass distribution solution than BitTorrent in the foreseeable future. Right now, I'm beginning to think this is all too much hassle, and I should just cancel this for next year. But that's probably 12:01 AM after spending my evening recreating the torrent and handling disqualification emails speaking.

This is just an idea for next year but what about an FTP server where we can create an account for each person that enters to log in. Then they can download the videos from there. Sort of like the org here when you go to upload your video. You get a user name and password and upload to the FTP. I'm sure there is a way for everyone to download it using the same method.

The problem with that is bottlenecking.
Gimme a minute, I'll make a cool one....

Also, I was quite disappointed when Cyanna informed me that Azureus had changed its name to Vuze, as now I no longer have any excuse to go around singing "Azureus, AzuREUS... oh oh oh Azureus".
