cbr is just gonna have to submit some hentai to even things out :amv:
DO NOT tempt me. I can do it, in under two hours, and it would be awesome.

There's been a question that's come up a few times recently and in the past. For simplicity and ease of management, our database is not configured (nor are there any plans to change it) to account for variants of studio names or a collaboration system like the org has. My primary intent with the usage of the studio name was to allow us to post a public video list that allowed users to disassociate themselves from their own given name (as many editors choose to do) and was more customizable than the login user names (which would also be a security risk).

If there is any additional and pertinent information (a collaboration video that you wish to share credit with someone else, preferred play order in the event of multiple submissions and we cannot play them all, etc) include a text file (named the same as the video) along with your video and we will try to give credit appropriately where possible. I will try to add a comments field to the database in the next few weeks where this information can be more easily accessed but it is of a lower priority than Pro/Master judging discs and will have to wait until those are out of the way.

Given that the discs have to be mastered and burnt, and any extension would delay this process which must be completed before any further steps can progress, an extension is VERY unlikely. We have a little flexibility with the nomination/voting period and the appearance of blank dvd's in my mailbox can be a few days after the deadline as I stated earlier (but don't push it...), but the video submission must remain firm.

Also, I've received a few mailers without a corresponding video registered on the site. I must remind everyone, to be FULLY entered into this contest you ABSOLUTELY MUST register an account (ones from last year are still active, minus any of you that needed <firstname>Pro accounts created for them. Those have been purged) and submit the video under the Pro contest. This is the same website that will be used for voting, so it's obvious that an account is required. And without a video entered, you won't be permitted to vote, nor will you have a video present to be voted upon =/

I've actually managed to fill my timeline and finish the basic concept of the video, the after effects part is what is left, which requires a lot of trial and error since I don't yet know *how* to get the effect I'm trying to get until I play with it, and a lot of time will be wasted on waiting for exports. But I was editing like mad this weekend while out of town and think I can finish barely on time to submit before I leave for Otakon this Thursday.

Is there any possible way that a small extension till Monday or Tuesday for the people that will be out of town for Otakon is at all possible? That would help tremendously, though it is my fault for procrastinating till the last minute, so I won't cry if its not possible
