AWA MASTERS CONTEST DEADLINE APPROACHES

It was explained to me. I thought you had to have a new video to qualify with, because you submit it with your Master's video. I also figured that would be a way to limit entries. (Shrugs) But I'm not going to complain, means I get to spend the next few weekends in a mad panic to make something really good for the contest. However I've found my simpler, thrown together videos do so much better then the ones I put time into. I don't know why.

Blast. I find in my hands my first excellent AMV (IMO), and am (figuratively) undecided in whether to go "all in" or simply ante up at AWA. The exhibition offers greater likelihood of victory and (considering my unillustrious past with AMVs) is a more level playing ground for me. However, the Master's contest is, well....THE Master's contest, and if this might be its last year, I doubt it will be around while I'm gone for the next two years. Go figure

Just a *bump* for the Masters' contest notification as the deadline looms upon us. Masters' entries typically take people a lot longer to assemble, so don't leave those final tweaks to the last minute or you might find something that requires a major overhaul!

What a shame to see we must submit again a video which is not exhibited in others conventions for this contest.

Barley made it, took forever to upload a 271 meg file off of a 56k, i'm just glade that it's done, my qualifying video won at AWA in 2002.

If need be, i will upload it though you guys allready have it.

Anyways ii'll upload my vid in a few days. not to give to give any of it away (given the contestnature of blind judgeing) but this vid was alot of work in part because i wanted to give the masters something special for it's final year. So to AWA i give this video which could not exists for any other contest.

Thank you AWA for even having the masters. I will miss them.
