Contest spies?

Wondering if anyone here objects to "spies" at a Con. Like, say....I'm submitting my vids to the AWA Exposition, but I won't be able to make it in person for the actual Con to see audience reaction (which is all I'm interested in). Would it be in any way unethical to ask someone who's going to be at the Con anyway to kind of be my eyes? As in tell me whether the audience clapped, whistled, cheered, booed, yelled expletives, or hurled soda and hotdogs at the screen?

Just wondering....

If there's nothing wrong with it, would anyone volunteer to do this for me? If there IS something wrong with it, my bad, gomen nasai, I'm not worthy, and all that good apology stuff

Theres nothing wrong with that at all. It's nice to know what kind of reaction your vid gets if you can't be there to see it yourself.

Who's going to AWA? And of those, would there be anyone willing to tell me how my vids are received if they're shown at all?

There's never anything wrong with asking people about audience reception to your vid

You know, BS, it's gonig to be really tough to ask people to look out for your video at a con like AWA...videos are shown 24 hours a day, so unless they're in the room a LOT, there's very little chance they'll just happen to come upon your video...you never know what's playing when, except for a few specific contests, and even that is very tough.
