So, to talk about the contest. I wouldn't feel right if I didn't start by eating some crow - we had technical difficulties at the AMV contest panel, which lead to us having some real audio issues. The audience was forgiving, and the creators that were in the house took our problems with grace. To them, I would publicly like to give my thanks, and to apologize again for the problems. We know how to fix things in the future, and will have the equipment on hand so that next year these problems won't rear their head again.

On the good side, we pulled in a huge audience for the contest. We originally had planned to hold it in the largest of the panel rooms, and at the last minute relocated it to main events - and it's a good thing that we did. The room was filled.

The videos that were submitted this year were an amazing bunch, and it was a pleasure to run the contest. Congrats to all of the winners, and everybody who entered has my admiration and appreciation.
