AH! I loved this convention so much, it was my first one. Everyone's videos were AMAZING. Especially the one who won action/upbeat! (and definitely under control. Omg great.) WOW. This was my first contest too, and I was shocked to win anything. Great job everyone!!!

Didn't you have to buy a badge to enter the contest? I thought that was the rules for entering this contest.

For the main awards yes...

"1. You must be a paid / pre-registered AFO Convention attendee to be eligible for the main
awards in this contest that are given out at the showing. Submissions from out of area ARE
accepted, but are only eligible for fan favorite and judge's discretionary awards."

Oh, that's new. Okay I guess I could have submitted this year. I mis-read the rules. That's cool. I did always like the fact you saw more local videos / editors at the convention when the awards were handed out.

Does anyone know where I can find the whole list of videos in the contest? I really liked anime crack and one of them in the drama category... if someone can find me a list so I can watch some of them again i'd love you! Thanks!

This was the hardest contest yet - we got 65 submissions and usually only have room for 25.
We had to squeeze hard to get 29, and made sure all local attendees got at least one or two videos shown.
It was a difficult decision on what to put into the contest and we apologize for anyone who did not get air time.
ALL are encouraged to try us again next year!
