I've tried all that. I think the problem was caused by my own stupdity and WMM being generally stupid. I manged to accidentally overwrite some of the source footage and my attempt to replace it backfired badly.

Sweetdeily and I have never had a problem with MP3's in WMM, They work better than any other format (adds) for me, I've heard that they cause sync issues in premiere and other programs tho.
I believe that sweets has had a problem with WAV in WMM tho.

Admittedly I've never had a problem with MP3s in WMM, but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

hehehe interesting thread, mebbee I've never had the problem 'cause I use the highest bit rate when making mp3?
And it seems that the problem is not mp3 specific from the thread, it happens to wav too.
