*sigh*

I'll watch it eventually one day....
Ever heard of download managers that can resume?

grab freedownloadmanager from download.com and try that. You can just drag the download link from the page to the icon that shows up on the screen to download the monstrosity.

On that note, 800 megs is way to big, should try and get that down to about 400-500 or so. You can probably get to 200-300 or so with X264 and still look pretty descent. Resolution might want to drop down to 512x388 to lower bits also. what sound compression are you using?

I probably should've mentioned this in the beginning, but I had no idea the project would be this long ;p Next time a project like this, you might want to consider 24fps instead of 30. It would save alot of bits come time for compression for online distribution, and you don't notice much difference in the frame speed, unless your doing really tight action syncing. (which I don't think anyone did in this project) as an example, I did Zetsumo in 24fps, even though its an action video, and I think it still came out well as far as synchage goes.

I'm still downloading, but I'll let everyone know actual thoughts on the work once its done ^^

Oh and jubjub, I want your cat ;p

Sorry i took ong to get back here.
I will probally forget about the Xvid version and just make the mp4 for the mep.
There was pretty much no way to make that around 500MB in xvid and look good even at 512x384.
When it was done in 24fps nothing was really noticible in the slower moving videos but it done something weird to the videos that had lots of fast movement going on like Senshimamoru, Fireemblem and mine.
The audio in it is lame mp3 190kbps.

I don't know when i'll have the mp4 availible since i gotta take care of some things with other MEPS.
Thanks for you guide Bakadeshi, it looks like it will be easy to use.
When i do the mp4 i'll probally re-export the whole thing again to fix the credits and some other things in it.(which all together will be multiple hours of work again >.>)

Oh yeah!
Jubjub, I want your cat too ^_^

I normally edit in 24 FPS anyway... I had to convert my videos to fit the 29.97 requirement with vdub in order to submit in the first place. I'm sure my 2nd video (1st apearing in the MEP) would probably apear more dead on timed at 24 FPS...

Either way, my server is still open to host whatever version you put out. Of course, we can get rid of the LARGE file once that is up. No matter what I've hosted I've yet to fill even a tenth of the monthly bandwidth in a month I have access to so I doubt there will be a problem on that front. ^^

Wish it were my kitty. :'(

If anyone is interested in stand-alone versions of my tracks, here are links:

http://www.jubjub2videos.com/jubjub2-mononoke(SM).avi
http://www.jubjub2videos.com/jubjub2-totoro(xvid).avi

I'll probably take them down in a couple of days, but if you want 'em, you can have 'em!
