@sky
I like it, the timing from :23-:27 is a bit hard to pick up on though.

@guy
:up:

@chrono
I'll second sky on the text at the end...not a big fan of that.
I think your track needs more motion, it just feels a bit too static to me (the kissing scene is good, but maybe it would benefit from some shaking like what you did for negi's face just afterwards)

@chii
liked your first beta, second one looks good too (though Linux still doesn't play the audio for it...I think it's safe to assume that the timing is still on)
I like the bubbles for the transition. I think the transition from guy's part will turn out good, just make sure that you both have it going at the same speed

@bauzi
now that I've seen it a few times, I think your betas since beta-03 are a bit bright (maybe expand that black oval in the center maybe?)
Piano keys at the very end of your segment seem to be off (or I can't pick up on what they're timed to)
other than that...put the two parts together so we can see the whole thing

@all
tacos > waffles
pizza >> all

Alright. I think they´re ok. What kind of monitor do you use? LCD, etc... (or however the flat ones are called. I never remind the names clearly).
I consider it for possible changes! It´s easy to change. thx for telling.

They´re timed to nothing. Completly random. They came out of an editing mistake. I forgot to delete some bars, but after watching it and deleting some lines it really looked nice for me. Like a style that breaks off and lasts on for a bit.
/me likes that ^^
(yes it does look much better with the final scene on it)

yeah, I have an LCD monitor...though the contrast ratio should be high enough so that brightness isn't a problem (and the current setting is actually a lot less bright (color-tone and color-gamma) than default)

Just if you got it wrong (I don´t think you did): I don´t blame your or Greg ;)
It´s just for my personal interest and it´s a little thing that I can easly change for our final usergroup (-> the viewer).

Oh rly? Now I think more and more about a little adjustment. Anybody else who thinks that it´s really bright?

The background is nice, but I miss the rings. It´s not enough going on for such a big ressolution.
I want feathured edges =/
Rings aren't coming back, I can't make them move any faster without redoing the entire middle portion, and that just is not happening. Also, feathering the edges of the rotos would also take too much time...sorry, I don't have the time or patience to fix either.
Bauzi wrote:The rest is pretty much fine. Just some figures have too thick borders for me at the last scene schema.
The second half of my beta is all directly from the opening of Stratos 4, so there's not much I can do about that.

Agreed, I'll do what I can to make it more obvious.

Well ok, but did you consider that the vid might look better filled if they´re in with a nice blending mode? I mean it would just need 5 minutes to have a look at it if you made a good dynamic composition in AE.
They maybe don´t even need to be fasten up.
(btw... if you made a proper AE comp and a dynamic render comp you just need to speed the comp up and add some more to the end -.-' Well I think you learned about your mistakes if you made the whole scene in just one comp xD. btw² That´s why I don´t use Vegas for complex stuff, because you can´t (I couldn´t) add something like compositions into my timeline like in Premiere or AE )

If you don´t want to: ok. Leave it as it is. No problem with that.

EDIT:
oh my god oh my god oh my god!!!
Some places in my frames look horrible. I really hope that no one notice them Y_Y
My quality sucks ass. However: If I just noticed it now.... Maybe people don´t notice it at all?
I just hope that x264 works good or I´m screwed >_>
I´m so sorry!!!

EDIT²:
Damn it! I need one more day for fixing the quality issue. It really stings out. I also have to fix the position of one bar.
Tomorrow... .-. Ugh I´m lame.

@crack: Hmm, not quite sure how I like the new background. Feels too static to me. What I liked about the rings is that they created the illusion of motion, just that it wasn't quite fast enough. Anything else you could (easily) do that could recreate that illusion with more speed? Hell, maybe even take a tunnel sequence straight from an anime (ie: the one from Kariudo's scrapped AMG segment. I know something from Geass that might work too) If not, do you still have the ring part saved? Cause I almost want to say bring that back despite the lack of speed. Like the rest of the track though

As for me, working on some tweaks and fixes, taking a little more time than I expected (I should know better by now >.>) Should have something by Friday at least

I'm sorry for not checking the finals/betas. I may not even be able to check them later anyway. College is being hell. So I'm just popping here to wish you guys good luck in the last stage of the project :)

Gateway will be awesome :up:

Track status: 80 percent.

Will work all tonight, but doubt I will finish. Will finish for certain by Friday.

I am a slow, slow editor.
