you may want to put a feather on the moonlight melody text. it'll give it a softer look, and get rid of the white pixels if the feather is heavy enough
KioAtWork: I'm so bored. I don't have class again for another half hour.

Im not sure how it will work though since the intros are made in swishmax. If you know where some good feather pictures are i'll try it.Minion wrote:you may want to put a feather on the moonlight melody text. it'll give it a softer look, and get rid of the white pixels if the feather is heavy enough

why're you using swish? why not just use simple text layers in Photoshop and animate it in premeire?moonie211 wrote:lol my badMinion wrote:not a real feather
feathering is a photoshop technique
It wouldn't work with those since the text is an overlay that scrolls across the picture. I'll see if it can be smooth more in swish though.
Edit: lol forgot I could edit in this forum, woopsie Double posting. Anyway, I think i'd like to see a beta section of it Animated, so I can get a better idea of what your trying to do and if it can be done better with premeire/photoshop.

I use swish because i made a template so all i have to do is change the name and background wallpaper for each video. That makes it more easier. I did try to animate the text in premier but it didn't look smooth.
I would try photshop but i don't really know how to do anything neat with it >_<
I'll upload an example of an animated intro. ^^

Here is an animated one from jubjub's wallpaper
http://download.yousendit.com/8F06A83349E78B15
It doesn't have sound or the window on the side with the scenes from sailor moon.
This one just shows the text animation done in swish.

well, the white marks don't look too bad in the actual animation once converted to video, so it'll probably be fine. (although this is very easy to do also in premeire ;p)
The one thing I think you should change, is instead of animating the moonlight melody logo for each and every track, just embed it into the wallpaper (in otherwords it doesn;t move) and animate only the editors name. It'll save running time also by not having to have the title screens stay on the screen as long, (probably cut it in half) therefore saving bits wich will further improve the quality to space ratio of the final project file.
I think the way you have it is too much time between the actual videos, which is what everyone realy wants to see when they watch it.
heh just thought of another idea, maybe have each editor (if they want) come up with their own moonlight melody logo to add variation to it (preferably in a style matching that of the wallpaper chosen) , so your not seeing the same logo every time? Or maybe even yourself come up with a few varying logos, and just photoshop it into the image itself, and only use swish to animate the editor name moving across the bottom.
I could even help come up with some. I just think seeing the same animation and same logo every time will get old very quick.
a quick example I came up with for mine:

for the name Bakadeshi, I tried to match the styling of your swish template to demonstrate my suggestion of changing the color scheme for the names to match the background. I'm not sure how hard this will be to change within swish though, probably depends on the method you used to make them.
I could do a quick encode from Premeire to demonstrate how easy it is to do in premeire also, if you wish. And you'll get no white marks ;p
