Lip Sync is better then the last time :O
I really like that subtitle part, the only thing you could do there is moar sync in the scenes....
Did you add the subtitles yourself?

Also, I just realized that i'm going to have to re-do the dance bitch thing, cuz once i crop it it'll take out the text, or should i leave the text out of it?

What do you mean with it´ll crop out the text? Do you mean when we convert the stuff to 4:3 720x480 aspect ratio?

For the record, 720x480 is 3:2, not 4:3. 4:3 would be 640x480 (or some multiple thereof).

Anyway, my "beta" is up, if you can call it that. It's only eight seconds long, it's just ecchi rotos, and it's really, REALLY empty. It took me a long time just to make this, because the entire thing was done in After Effects and the camera is moving throughout the entire thing, so I had to compensate for that with each roto (you can't tell that the camera is moving because I haven't added anything to the background yet).

Please, if you're going to comment on the beta and say something like "Moar stuff", don't. I know perfectly well that there needs to be more, I'm doing this in steps and I want to get all my sync to the guitar done first, then I'll come back and sync to other sounds. There will be plenty of eye candy in here by the time it's all done (that's the plan, anyway), so don't complain about this beta being boring or whatever. I put it up to prove that I am indeed working on something.

Unfortunately, I probably won't be able to get any more of this done before December 14, because that's when my winter break starts and I'm going to be swamped with work until then. But here's what I have now, so give it a look.

Doesn´t matter. I was talking about 720x480 with pixel aspect ratio that makes it 4:3. Isn´t it Sony Vegas default or something?

It take me for ages to get a bloody 2MB download finished. Don´t make me cry... With every login I can download max. 10% of the file. ARGH

It seems only you have that problem...
If I were you I would blame Gregg, Windows or the Internet Explorer (oh 2:1 for Windows, Gregg you loose)
If you are accessing the ftp via Inet Explorer, maybe try reinstalling it?

@Scotty: Couple things I didn't like. The biggest thing was the colored vertical lines you had going from 0:08-0:14 on the drum beats - they looked really cheesy, I'd highly suggest figuring out a different way to sync there. Also, I'm not a fan of that last scene either, his facial expression doesn't really fit the tone of the speaker's voice from the song.

Other than that, very good stuff, I really like how you shake the screen near the beginning, that looks excellent

really liked some changes you made, especially that you replaced those white bars with color bars that NOW are synching something XD (still the last ones are a bit, just a bit, off IMO).
The shaking... mmmmm the feel of the music is not strong enought to make the screen shak SO much, I would have used it just to symbolize the high scream at 0:05 (since I wish you do something to synch it

), but yeah O:
Final, lip synch looks so not natural XD, it would be nice to fix that and change the scene really, search for an scene in which Ed is, I don't know, with a mic maybe?(that would make sene as to why he is saying "your attention, please", right? O: ), or maybe you could use Heughes (sp?) in that episode of Roy vs Ed O:, just suggestions.

just one word can describe this beta: hillarious
seriously guy, you did an awesome job if you ask me, nice synch overall, especially loved the begining. Lip synch still needs work, subtitles are good IMO, but you need a better font, that one is way too simple (or at least a way to put it more "smooth" in the vid), maybe the one of the project? (the font used in the project name in the poster/sig). Also what you did at 0:17, was nice, you made it with Photo Shop?, anyway I think its a bit empty there since you jumped from background with colors to plain black all of a sudden and then again with colors (and skittles).

nice synch so far though, dunno if you are going to put something in the background (which you should) but maybe the borders of the rotos will look strange? (at least with black BG they looked iffy) but I'm sure you will make it look good

. Anyway full beta and I will be more detailed.

nice work everyone, with what I have seen so far this really is going to turn out great

. Just remember to use the effects to make it synch with the song and not just to make your track look cool O:, or you will hear me complaining LOL
