Knowing Haruhi, we're more than likely to get everything mixed up again.

Also, I think it's fair to assume that the book series itself isn't finished (I get that impression, anyway). Although among my main fears is excessive 'milking' of the series - as many good possibilities as there are of Haruhiism, I hope it ends sometime before it gets redundant. It's too good to be ruined by over-marketing

I don't know whether to weep for the bad singing or just cheer for the sheer courage it took to actually pull it off but maybe you people will appreciate this anyway

Yeah, this happened in Manifest about a month ago now in the cosplay competition and I was quite, err, glad to be in the crowd to actually see it live. It's interesting to live the anime I think... did I do the finger tapping that Kyon did? Maybe

Haruhiism has gotten too much hold of me...

I wish I could see the players themselves better.

Surely it took courage, though I might rather take a phonogram on that one.

Then again, I'm sure it looked and sounded more proper to the venue when it was live

Man, the singing makes Baby Jesus cry!

Though it would be EXTREMELY rare to find a female cosplay group that does that AND knows how to sing and play the instruments.

When the crowd went wild in the theatre, I was just speechless... they are cute too on close up. It pissed the hell out of me that I was in charge of all the cameras in Manifest, the main one having a good close up of the performances, and yet with just about 4 cameras in my disposal, I forgot to put a tape in even one of them and record that T_T

that was pretty hilarious. As for the singing, I've heard worse on american idol, but still pretty bad lol. A for effort though. ;p

singing better in this Japanese one, up until everyone starts chiming in anyway, though you can't hear the instruments very well >.>
I don't think they are actually playing the instruments though, but its kinda hard to tell for sure.

No, they're not playing, though it's possible that the Yuki in that one is familiar with what playing guitar should look like. Not the others though

Hah I remember that. The costumes were cool, the singing... less so. Although what I found truely amusing was infinity_squared dashing out of the storage room we were in (behind the theater) like his pants were on fire to watch this.

Also it should be noted that attempting to edit iron chef videos in a storage room next to a theatre hosting cosplay is just a tad on the difficult side. On account of being severely distracted. Also listening to basement jaxx on headphones and these guys singing was er... bad. They went on for ages too. Did they do the song twice or something?
