Not exactly, but definitely a LOT of tentacle-ish scenes. And watching Nina squirm and yelp when she gets felt up has an unusual arousing effect... None of them seem as 'mature' as the original Mai-Hime set [with the exception of the headmaster and Amethyst who will always be WOMAN in my eyes ^_^]

Hmm... if i recall correctly, Mai Otome doesnt even take place on Earth, but on a planet similar to it. Nina also points out to this fact when researching the Fish thing that Rap.....ahem, attacked her in the pool. So im guessing this is an alternate reality, possibly what could've happened if the HIME's DIDN'T win against Lord Obsidian.

That's a very interesting theory. Obsidian's got it good... ^_^

The 'rules' behind being Otome might spawn a large breed of Yuri scenes from this series though...

Damn, I thought at least SOMEONE would post in this thread within the next 4 months... Hell, it hurts me just to post in here due to the 4 month time span. Well, anyways....

I like the way this series is progressing. Arika is a total annoyingly cute brat, Nina is a psychopath, and that crazy bitch Tomoe is just that: a crazy bitch. Hopefully we'll get to see some actual fighting, and some major slave pwnage in the upcoming episodes, or maybe some Pwnage from Mai if she decides to actually make an appearance.

nothing like a nuclear explosion equivalent to turn the series into a tragedy...

At any rate, more power to be seen and we see MAI HERSELF IN THE OPENING CREDITS OWNING ALL...

I think its pretty obvious Mai isn;t Arikas mother now since its evident she still has her powers as an Otome. however I wonder if she is either sealed in, or has something to do with the seal on that "ancient technology" that the twisted little brat that's the king of Arai (I think name is Negi?) is trying to activate....
I'm also curious what role the Yaggdrasil unit android plays in this series... She seems to be protecting arika from behind the scenes... maybe commisioned to do so by her mother. gotta say shes pretty cool in this series though ;p [/font]
