OK. I got to watching this movie earlier. Part of me's still not sure what to make of it...overall, the whole thing felt unresolved...then I noticed in the credits that the movie was adapted from a manga. So I'm now wondering:

Is this akin to the cases of Hellsing and Berserk in that there was more story in the manga that didn't get into the movie or what?
