My one vid nomination w/poster

Post by Vancore » Wed Jan 28, 2004 6:14 am

Finally brought my webpage back up so I thought I might advertise a bit for my vid. Even made a spiffy AMV poster. Though its a bit hard to tell what anime I'm using, I thought I might go with it anyway. Mysterious like :P .

If it looks like something you would like click hereand download the vid.
And if you think its good enough for the VCA's, hey I'm cool with it. 8)

Already taken care of dude. I was happy that I remembered to nominate this video for a couple of awards since it (unfortunately) seemed lost in the crowd.

I was also really glad to see you win at AWA since I voted for you at ACen (small correction, you were up for "best action," not drama) and Otakon only to be disappointed *sob*.

Regardless, good video and worthy of the nominations I gave it.

Totally unrelated, but going to ACen this year?

Yup, I'm going down this year as well. I'll see ya there.

And wasn't mine shown last in the Drama section? I was pretty sure it was.

Actually the guy was wrong, its a VHD:B vid, I just didn't correct him. I'm not sure what you mean by bolding the CPU part tho, but I felt pretty good when I heard it would stay on it.

Yeah it was shown during Drama, however during judging all of us more or less demanded it be put in action so we could nominate it. I'm fairly sure I made the request and three or four other judges were like "I was thinking the same thing!" So effectively we moved it so that the Guests of Honor would see it as an action video and give you a better shot. Unfortunately, it didn't work out, but oh well.

See ya there! Hopefully not in a crowded area like say the AWA Dealer's room where we all lost each other :-P

Good luck in the VCAs.

Um... what I meant was: when was the last time you stored any file on a CPU?

I guess in theory if you could get the video down to 1MB, you could store it in the L2 cache, but then your CPU won't work or will have to just go to main memory for *everything* and effectively make it insanely slow

OMG I'm such a dork.

If you're fine with a die-size like 1 foot by 1 foot then ok :). I bet I could easily get one of our Athlon designs out and just copy and paste the 512 kb cache 200 times and connect the traces...Then again, there would be no motherboards to support it, but it'd be pretty funny.

BTW sorry Travis if I'm hijacking your thread...

Thanks for bringing this video to my attention. I'll be sure to include it in my nominations.
