Most Improved Creator:
SSJVegita0609 - Okay, so you want evidence... Well, this year I finally made the big switch from non-linear to linear editing. Yes, that's right, everything I made up until Weakness Apart was done with a very crappy freeware trial version of Videomach capable of no effect/transitions and only able to line up on clip after the other in completely linear form. And now that I use premiere, I realize how much that held me back from creating videos that really brought out my potential. If you want a good example of how much I've improved, download my two Chevelle videos, The Accursed and Fallen Heroes and Lost Love. Take a look at the massive difference in terms of Capture Quality, Syncing, and overall flow. I definately feel like I've come a long way in the last 12 months, a very long way.
Rookie of the Year:
Burntoast: Now, knowing BT and his stupid issues with his self-esteem, he will probably come in here and say "No SSJ, I'm no where near good enough..." Well BT... YOU WON AN AWARD AT AWA ONLY FIVE MONTHS AFTER YOU STARTED EDITING. DID TASH WIN? NO! YOU DID! Anyways... Anyone who's seen any of Burnt's videos will agree with me when I say, he is up to par with, if not better than, any experienced editor, and could easlily be one of the best new creators of the year. When he released his first video back in April, he showed us all that he was a serious editor, with serious potential.
TrunksOtaku: It's funny, it's come to my attention that no one at the org seems to know who Trunks is, and he gets very little of the attention he really deserves. I honestly plan on nominating him for best new creator, and I highly suggest you check out his two vids, they're pretty damn spiffy. His street fighter alpha video is probably the best I've seen for any street fighter anime, and I've seen an aweful lot of those.
Well, that's all the pimping I can handle for now, anyone who feels like discussing anything I just posted, feel free
