This is one of the best first amvs I've seen. Sync was good, and transitions were great, but I am taking into account that this is your first amv. You could do something bigger when there is a stronger part in the music, just spice it up a little bit, and try saving the more intense sequenced for intense parts of the song. My first was essentially... I think I used 4 scenes of 1 bleach episode. lol. Really though, it shows promise.

i see what you mean, that would be better. I cannot believe that my first amv actually won something at a convention. if JForce hadn't entered his "Beating" Video i would have won best action :D. shows you how bad the competition was.

THAT was a first AMV? Excellent work for your first AMV!

I do, however, have a few critisistms.

First of all, the video lacks atmosphere. What this means [or at least how I interprete it] is that the video, while fits lyirically to the music, doesn't fit the song or the source's soul. A perfect example would be at :44 and around that time frame. I thought that would be one of the song's climax, where the video needs to be blasting our brains away with awesomeness, and here you chose static slow moving scenes and longer lasting scenes.

That's another complaint I have regarding the video. It's an action video but utilizes longer scenes that tend to drag on. :51-:54 and around kind of makes my point around this one.

However, that being said, it was still amazingly fun to watch. The lyric sync worked well enough with the source to give it an entertainment value that I really enjoyed.

It was a new source I've rarely [if ever] seen, and a pretty unique concept behind it [even though the band is overused, it was nice to see something new out of it]. :D

The visual quality was acceptable and nothing wrong in that department.

Definitely a keeper for me, and I'll be looking forward to future works from ya! :awesome:

Congratz, for a first video is very good :O
Try to use action scenes when the song is fast and strong

Well it's an hell good for a first amv...I liked some lyric sync in the first minute and the cuts were a little long but well done :D
you have to improve the dynamism of the scenes
