- Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
- Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
- When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
- Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

(First Upload) Infinite
This is my first upload to a-m-v.org, though I have been editing for a few years already. I am not very experienced with anything above the level of windows movie maker, but I am currently trying to uncover the inner workings of Sony Vegas 9 right now.
I hope that you enjoy it, and please leave constructive criticism if you so choose.
(P.S. I apologize for some of the low quality scenes. My DVD ripper isn't what it used to be.)

First I'll advice something: some moments had black lines from top and bottom and some had those lines from left and right. That's because you've used the footage with different aspect ratio. Meaning that some of them were widescreen, others were not. It's preferable that you edit on footage with the same frame size or at least same aspect ration. But if not then you'll have to cut of some part of the image in order to dispose of those black lines. In Vegas before you start working go to File>New. A window should pop out. In that window adjust the frame size and frame rate, to whatever your footage size and rate are. I have worked with Vegas, so if you'll need some kind of help, feel free to ask me
Not that I'm a master, but I'll be able to help in some situations.
But if we leave the technical side, then I have to say the AMV was quite good, I liked it. It had some atmosphere, I liked the scene selection(even though it had no continuity or plot), and sync was not bad either. Just don't use that black color flash again, it's a rather overused technique. Overall - pretty good job. Keep it up!

Thanks for the tips on Vegas! And yeah, I figured that the different aspect ratios would throw off some people, but I have always used WMM, which has no such aspect ratio tools, and a basic DVD ripper.
Anyway, thanks for the comment!
