Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Lina Inverse is Awake

Post by guardiansoulblade » Sun Sep 06, 2009 10:49 am

I was originally going to upload this later, but I'll be in a car going up to my cousin's wedding so there's no way I can upload this on the 18th, so I might as well do it now.

I tried to get the file size a lot smaller than my other ones, this AMV is best viewed with Windows Media Player the VLC player is okay but it make the sync not start at the beginning for some reason.

Much better than your last video. It seemed like you tried to think this one out more, which is a plus, cuz....I actually enjoyed this one a little, the flow seemed a lot better. Then again, it's Slayers. I love Slayers. XD

However, there were some split second frames here and there that popped up from time to time, but seemed to stop towards the middle. Still better than your last. You'll get better. It takes time.

Thanks for the advice TwilightChrono. Still working on improvement, I do think this is better than "Hero".

No problem. Try using different scenes and try to keep the pace up and beat sync more. You will be surprised how much a little beat sync helps in a vid. I suggest you learn how to mask if you have a good editing program. It also helps bring out a vid potential. Remember, you always wanna try to aim for replay value. Try to appeal to the masses XD But also keep in mind that it's a hobby and don't take it so seriously. Feel free to take a look at some of my AMV's for some examples. I recommend my newer ones though.

Then again, if I think about it, that goes against the code of conduct of an AMVer.

AMV's=Serious Business.
