Very nice quality and flow. I expected it to have more effects (japanese school prejudice) and was nicely surprised by the simplicity, which worked very well.

As for the tracks:

Intro and outro were kickass. Nice, clean.

The first track had some interesting ideas and was, if I noticed right, the most effects heavy. Still not much disturbing and it was clear what's going on, unlike in some of the Karas vids. Solid work.

The second track had the advantage in being simmilar to someKaras art so it flowed into it really well. Nice idea and uniting theme. Fairly simmilar to the first track, solid editing again.

The third track was, imo, the weakest one. While this OVA has some nice footage to work with, the overlaying really didn't work and it was confusing most of the time. Sync'd well, but the fact it was so confusing was really weird.

Track four kicked ass. Probably the best of them, having stuff like strong themes (the piano, YES!), good editing, ideas, everything. This is how I imagine a good track.

Track five. I read the anime in the MEP before I watched it, but forgot them almost instantly. And when I got to this I was like "5cm... in action MEP??? MASAKA!!!"
And you know what? It worked! Myprops to Niwatori, since making it work is really good. It didn't work "as much" as tracks, say, 1, 2, 4... but it still worked A LOT which is the best thank you I can say about it. My second favourite track of the MEP (but everyone knows I love Shinkai's work, so... heheheh...)

Track six was good. Too short to be seriously rated, in fact, but not bad.

Overally I really enjoyed this and I hope to see something simmilar in the future.

Thank you and 5/5 :>

Not bad! Some very nice editing and smooth visuals. I have to agree with Nya on the fact that 5cm worked surprisingly well even in between all the action stuff.
Reminds me a lot of French MEPs, the editing style is sort of similar!
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Good Stuff

Hellsing-Track didn't fit that well and the Gurren Lagann one was way to short but overall good work!

Well done :)

I thought the whole thing flowed really well, but some of the sources was not fitted.

I find it sad that this is indeed the best MEP I've seen in a while. Which for me just goes to show how low that I guess one could say sub genre has fallen. All the tracks seemed rather straight forward without stealing each others spotlight. Thus giving the project a decent and most importantly a mostly consistent flow. All in all however the project as a whole didn't shine simply because most of the editing/composting choices didn't seem to have been thought through. And thus all the tracks result in just being mere 30~45 second snippets of a song that is either spammed with needless effects and/or sync. It would have probably helped a lot if there was a very present theme associated with the project. Granted the MEP title doesn't really lend itself for that as it merely suggests random crossovers.

All in all a decent project but it didn't make me fondle my privates.
