'Fire Alive' Otaku Vengeance 2009
So I have made a new video. I never imagined myself ever editing with Dragonball Z ever again, but I couldn't help it. Ever since I heard this song a few years ago, I had always imagined it going perfectly with DBZ, but I just never wanted to edit with DBZ. After getting laid off from work 2 months ago, I found myself sitting around bored all the time, and wanted to do a video. I had all the DBZ movies and specials downloaded, so I decided to give it a shot and see how it went, after capturing a few movies (like 8-9-10) and messing around, I realized I could do this video with just the movies and specials, and so I did. Its my first video since 2005, so let me know if there are any issues with the quality of the video, and of course let me know what you think. As with all my videos, there are basically no effects here, just a lot of editing to get the anime to match the music on its own.
Oh and I decided to bring my site back for a 3rd time, now its at http://www.OtakuVengeance.org (will be up soon, just bought the domain this weekend)

It's hard for me to listen to this kind of music, but the video itself was cool. Looks like you had fun editing it ;p
I need to watch these movies eventually... seriously starting to get addicted.

I have died twice now.Niotex wrote:Holy shit.. The dead are rising.
I'll check it out.

I went with a heavier song then I usually use, and I will probably be doing more heavy stuff like this. Glad you liked it even though it might have made you deaf.*inverse* wrote:It's hard for me to listen to this kind of music, but the video itself was cool. Looks like you had fun editing it ;p

Another thing that drove me to make it, as many DBZ videos as I made all those years ago, they were all sloppy. I needed to make one last DBZ video.OropherZero wrote:Yeahhh I love old school action vids

So... you got laid off and now you're just sitting around making AMVs? I think you need to find a job.

Oh hey, a dbz vid that actually has nice editing. I did enjoy the internal sync that was there, really well done. It's nice to see the old editors coming back.
About the quality... well, it was decent I think, but yeah, now you can get better quality with a lower filesize easily, if you encode with x264.
Anyways, thumbs up from me.
