I made this specifically for Anime Expo 2008...when it didnt make the finalist list, I felt a little discouraged about uploading it...but my friends told me to send it to other cons...I sent it to Otakon and Japan Expo as well....it also did not make the final cut...but I kept trying, until it made finalist lists of AnimeFest and AUSA. =3 I feel very proud of this video.
Just recently found out it won Best Drama at Anime Banzai 2008. =3
Originally, I was gonna have all the manga scans colored...but what happened was, my editing files got corrupted and I could no longer fix it up or add anything to it. I know there are a few photoshopping errors, but I hope that is overlooked and hope this video is enjoyable. =3
The original song is 7 minutes long, so I tried my best to shorten it as much as I could without ruining the flow.
After hearing about the new Tokyo Revelations OVA coming out back in November of 2007, I started to work on this video which I believe to be my biggest project yet,
I spent approximately 3-6 hours a day on this video since November. Sometimes more, sometimes less. (this included fixing beats, rearranging clips, changing clips, and such)
The video was extremely hard to complete due to the fact it's over six minutes long and mostly consists of a 3 episode OVAs. I hope I did well in bringing out the seriousness of the OVAs and tying it to the TV series and manga.
I hope this video is not too confusing, I picked the song which I thought matched the OVA series nicely.
I would like to give a special thanks to my dear good friend <a href="http://youtube.com/ChosenEvil ">ChosenExiled</a> for providing me with the Japanese DVDs in order to get this video done.
Forgive me if some of the clips seem slightly lower quality. It consists of mostly DVD ripped clips, but I had to use some raws of season 2 due to season 2 not being out on DVD yet.
I would also like to thank my friend and great scan artist <a href="http://erikamirou.minitokyo.net/ ">Erikamirou</a>. Please visit her work.
