Edit:The first part was a sequence of scenes very well chosen, I liked a lot the second part ... Fluid from the scenes, and in synch special enforcement ... very good!

Neat, I liked it!

I recall seeing a beta of this quite some time ago... anyways, I really liked how you synced, especially in the second half. The thing I didn't like was the lip flap here and there, but, oh well, I didn't mind that much about it.

edit: good job combining the two different arcs, always thought that just doing that is the hardest part of using this 3-novels based anime, you really do need to create your own story which is what you did. So yeah captured some of the poetry of the anime, nice stuff, 4/5

Glad you liked it. Both parts of the vid are in contrast at least in how the syncing is rigid or fluid. The second part took the most work, glad to see it was worth it.

Lip flap is a pet peeve of mine, so I guess it is odd that I left it in for this vid. In the end when I tried to remove it I noticed it just looked like everyone was just staring at each other and somehow could understand each other without speaking, and that just didn't look right to me.

Nice to see someone who has seen the series think highly of my alterations of the actual storyline. I agree this source should be used more often. It is such a beautiful source, needs very little filtering and (at least from my tests) scales well to at least 720p. Then there's the fact that the series is just great, well, except for those few episodes that look like shit.
