Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

You can find all the information by following the link below. I am awaiting the other eight conspirators to add their names to the project. You can see them in the closing credits, too.

Enjoy..!

I am so depressed now.

Complaints:

Began with the unoriginal ideas.
Hajime no Ippo too much penis.
Three FMA clips in a row.
Two Avenue Q songs in a row.

and last but not least:
It's an 18 minute video. I'm 12 minutes in hoping its gonna end with something fantastic, and we go to credits.
YOU HAVE 1/3 OF YOUR VIDEO AS CREDITS.

...so depressed now.

But at least it was better than AMV Heck.

Sorry, didn't find it funny. Being offensive is what makes AMV Hell funny.

It was cute.

Edit:

Forgot to metion... The "Smoke" Subliminal Message and the FMA Periodtic Table song really made the project nice. It just needed funnier random clips to make it really shine stronger. Although some really had me cracking up. Then others was just kind of like O_o.

I've found that pretty much every MEP of this nature is hit-or-miss. I know it's not a complete laugh riot, but it's better than last year if the Otakon crowd was any indicator. I should have kept a closer watch of stringing too many clips from the same anime together, but whatever. We also desire more editors this year to make sure the credits don't take up more than 20% of the total bulk of material (four minutes of credits to no less than 20 of video).

I also am keeping in mind that not everyone thinks the world of our inspiration, AMV Hell, so I don't expect perfection. Detractors will exist until the end of time and constructive criticism is hard to come by sometimes. The fact there hasn't been a flat "this thing sucked" and nothing more gives me more hope for the future.

And wow, am I rambling now...

old idea is just too old.

i think amv hell ripoffs have come to a certain age, where a concept just needs to be put behind for 10-15 years.

just wasnt funny
