Inu Yasha - Wraith
The video is about Kohaku. It's a simple look at his tormented life, and the terrible position he's been forced into ever since his first outing as a youkai-exterminator.
I chose the song to set this to as I felt the lyrics were a fairly accurate reflection of his life - a slave, forced to obey terrible orders, who needs to find a way to break free of what he must do. I feel he's one of the most tragic figures of Inu Yasha and worth making an AMV about.
I'm looking for advice and constructive criticism. I've never made an AMV before. In fact, I've never made any kind of video before. I've never possessed a computer capable of running the software until now.
I have Adobe Elements, so mainly used Adobe Premiere 4.0 and found making the AMV a good way to learn how to use it.
I'm already aware of two things I could improve, and one transition I don't think has worked quite as well as it I'd hoped it would. I'm looking for anything else that I might have missed, and constructive means of avoiding such pitfalls in the future.
Mainly, I just want to know if I'm going in the right direction, or whether I'm getting off on the wrong foot from the outset.
