Hello everyone!

This is my first post in the org forums so please forgive any noobish behaviour on my behalf. I've recently completed the above AMV after a number of years away from the editing scene.

I don't want to spoil any aspects of the video so I'll just say that I had a good time putting it together, and I hope those of you who watch it will enjoy it!

Of course I'll happily welcome any comments and opinions on this video, and I will gladly return the favour!

edit: at first I thought the song choice was strange because Gurren Lagaan has a whacky art style but the editting was solid and overall I really enjoyed it 7.5/10.

This is the first Guerren Legan AMV I have seen so far and it was kind of cool^^ I really liked what you did even though I thought that song choice was wicked since I thought of other songs when I tried to do something with that anime xD

Just a small announcement.. By popular request I have removed the .wmv version of this video and have now uploaded an re-encoded version in .avi format. Apologies to those of you put off by the previous format, admittedly I was unaware of its reputation..

I can't put my finger on why, but I really like this video. First off, I really love this style of editing. There's an elegance to it that no amount of in-your-face effects can ever match. Second, your timing is impeccable.

I think what really gets me, though, is the theme. Live your dreams. It's a thing of beauty.

Wow... Just wow... I was watching this, getting ready for your free opinion, and I was just BLOWN AWAY. It's been a long time since I felt a real emotion from an AMV. This one did it. The new version's quality is GORGEOUS.

Editing is fecking awesome, man. You had the interesting beat sync, all the while mixing lyric and emotional sync, which made an amazing combonation.

The editing flow even chaned around the 2 minute mark. The overall flow changed to a more high paced video, as compared to the slower pace early in the video. Almost as if it was an entirely different video. :O

Concept was awesome.

This has got my higest reccomendation.

Though 5:11 is a little long. :O

GREAT mood in the video. I can agree with most of the things said above.
