Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Shikai_Li : Dragon Ball Z - Citizen Soldiers

Post by shikai_li » Wed Jan 30, 2008 9:27 pm

Hello everyone.
My name is Kelan "KK" Simeta (Blade[KK] / Shikai Li), and I'm semi-new to AnimeMusicVideos.org
Ive been around this website since 2004, mainly to download my favorite AMVs.
Ive made AMVs in the past, mainly in my Audio/Video Production class as an Editor in
High School, using both linear & non linear editing machines.
It wasn't until recently I started making them on my computer.
Ive tried various programs such as Adobe Premiere 6.5 (2003-Present), Sony Vegas (2007), but always found those a little bit difficult, especially while viewing your edited time line or project.
I decided to try using Windows Movie Maker for the first time around September-November of last year, and I felt it was really user friendly towards new AMV enthusiast's like myself.
So far, Ive made 3 AMV's using Windows Movie Maker, and 2 using Adobe Premiere.
The Adobe ones, being my first ever AMVs.
But you can check them out later if you want.

The one I really wanted to discuss & share was my most recent.

In this video, I felt the song matched so well with Dragon Ball Z.
Or any type of hero-influenced "saving the day" anime.

Im open to constructive criticism, any tips or ideas, can and will be really helpful, especially for my future projects.
Thanks for your time, and hope you enjoy it.

~ Kelan "KK"
