The description of this is pretty short, so I'll just quote what's on the video info page.
I originally planned to do the last 30 seconds in a completely different way (And less eye raep) but I couldn't finish it in the time alloted. I have so little time to do personal shit now, it's not even funny.Info wrote: First AMV in After Effects (Not the first time I've used After Effects)
First real AMV in over a year (Not the first thing I've edited in over a year).
This video was made for the AMVJ Sessions' Boom Boom Satellite online contest..
"I heard about this contest through animemusicvideos.org, basically they(AMVJ-sessions.com) give you Vexelle (anime) and The song “Easy Action” by Boom Boom Satellites, and expect you to make something amazing. If you win, band uses your video as their backdrop on their tour, plus some other stuff.
I worked only on the weekends since I didn’t have any other time to do it, and whipped this up. Coincidentally, this is my first AMV in After Effects, and my first real AMV in over a year. While not as amazing as the other entries’ on AMVJ’s site, I still enjoy it. So there."
This contest was advertised on the .org, but the thread seems to have been deleted now. Weird.
Stream this video instead, plus a no-effects version to see:

Otherwise download local.
This video used many rotoscoped sequences, though after much filtering, you can't really tell. Which makes me sad, because probably 60% of this was rotoscoped for custom transitions.
It was made in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects CS3, in about five days.
I hope you like the color green, because you're going to be assaulted with it.
Also - the "quality" is not an encoding issue. This is from (aside from the last 30 seconds, anyway) the perspective of a malfunctioning scope drone. You'll notice it "glitches" at every drum beat. Subliminal, but worth it.
There's a lot of subliminal stuff in there. Oh well.
Many thanks to Khameleon808 and SSGWNBTD, who beta tested for me and gave me some advice. =)
Anyway, download and/or stream and let me know what you think.
Streaming versions on my site are as follows:
full version: 2000kbps / 25mb
no effects ver: 1000kbps / 9mb
You will get the same quality of video if you stream the normal version or download it. But local is probably (as always) faster.
As a side note: Does anyone know what happened to the AMVJ thread?
