It's been forever since a release. My inner perfectionist Chiyo-chan got the best of me this time, but I hope my pain is your eye candy.

SPOILER ALERT:
It contains a Core 2 Duo logo. =p

/gets

It was acctually pretty good =O some parts was a bit meh, like the black border parts looked kinda iffy imo. It had nice sync and goof flow. the atmosphere kinda felt a bit awkward ;p anyway i pretty much enjoyed this vid.
but there was things that could need fixing, 3.5/5.
keep it up sir.

Not half bad considering the weak visual source. Fitting editing. :)

What Alex said. Although I didn't like the ending so much, and after reading your comments after viewing it I think I see why. Not saying it's not possible to edit good things fast, just saying that the ending felt rushed and concreted in one specific moment unlike the rest of the video.

Actually, I understand your comment about the 'concrete' editing of the last chorus.

Perhaps it should be added to the video description, but I specifically changed the pacing. Throughout the anime, Layla refused to face her past and spiteful memories - which is why it was often hard to see her past. It becomes very clear (if not overly clear) that she experiences flashbacks during the final showdown and learns from her mistakes back then [to fight the current/present opponent].

After watching the ending several weeks later completion, I know it is how I would have made it even if I had more time. It was pretty clear to me how to end it since it was being worked on throughout the (very) interrupted year.

I must say, as Avenger videos come, this is by far the "best". The series is supremely infamous for the amount of close ups and panning shots, so I understand the limitations you had to work with.

While your editing was tight, some effects distracted me - like the constant fade to black .... and others felt like they had been used too often by other editors - like the piano and border bars. However, toward the end the video seemed to flow more evenly and even introduced some good "editing techniques". Things like pausing on a still frame, the subtle color shifts, and soft overlays helped to balance the more jarring effects at the beginning.

Based on first impressions, I'm keeping this one in my collection, just so I can finally have an Avenger AMV that's actually cool to watch. Thanks for making it.

Hey, that was a sweet AMV. Just the right amount of action for this song and kewl effects used as well. I've gotta say really nice editing overall, I enjoyed this. 4/5 Good job!

Twas Nice.

I felt like your transitions and beat sync in the slower parts of the songs didnt feel right though, pretty choppy and destroyed the flow of the vid. Also I didn't feel the emotion the song/vid should give me (I actually love this song), I missed the emotion, I dunno, it might be the animes fault and the fact that I've never seen it and so I couldnt relate it to the song, but anyway, this was still an enjoyable video.
