The deathscene actually almost broke my heart...don't...don't do that to people.

Aside from the wrong aspect ratio, the kind of bad visual quality and the sometimes misplaced effects this video is the first Death Note AMV I've seen that I'd actually call dramatic. You had a very VERY sentimental mood going there, especially since you adjusted a lot of colors (as far as I know since I haven't actually seen the anime) and picked out only some very sad/sentimental scenes. And even if the scenes themselves sometimes weren't sad, you made them feel sad.

Maybe I'm biased because I love this song now thanks to you but I really liked it. Maybe if you someday have the time for it you could check out all the technical guides and work a bit more on the whole details that make videos look worse than they deserve to.

If you'll read my comment in General AMV forum, I believe I stated that this is a close second to my favorite video I've seen watching AMV's.

It's beautiful, people.

Sure there are a few technical problems, but it think that the overall plot covers those errors.

all scenes seemed sad to me after L`s death , the song also had a role in it .

iguess i`ll never be friends with technical stuff .. ive read the guides many times but i was working on After Effect and pp that ,made it even harder ..

yea , i hope that more ppl would appreciate DN AMVs specially the ones with a plot.
it`s true there are some problems but i`ve put alot of effort in it , i also find that my idea was pictured (wasn`t clear though ) and i am happy that my effort didn`t go to waste .

Er, if you wanted a bit of critique (I always do), I thought the yellow flames at around 10 seconds were a bit too harsh, it would have looked better if they blended in with the red more when it first came on the screen.
Loved the way the beginning was made up of L's childhood.
Yes, I agree, the fight scene was an important part of L's story.
Loved the section of effects at around 2 mins.
Do I spy a bit of LxLight? (reading your description it's Light's guilt, but my first impression was that X3)
Really liked the flashing Sun effect at around 3.18.
The Beautiful Day line is perfect for Light, since it was definitely a beautiful day. Nice the way the same line had different meanings for each character.

Awesome video! I didn't like some of the effects, the cut out at end was a bit rough, and the scene of misas deathgod kinda threw off the mood for me but other then that awesome im writing thinss rly fast GTGL OLWTF4/5fffff

thank god you tottaly understand what was in my mind ^0^..

you are right about the flames ..no one pointed out b4 ...

the effect on min 2 -2:16 took me whole week to finish in after effect i was trying to get L to move out of the background then disappear but it looked normal then after L`s hair was changed i thought that one still pic from a moving one would be unique
but some said i should`ve left the moving cut out ..

Wow, a whole week! (I've been using Windows Movie Maker so I don't know about fiddly high-quality programs) Effort well spent. ^^
Well, everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I really did like the way you did the L cut out. It was unusual, and I think it worked well.
Ha ha... I don't know the comments you've been getting... when I first posted my AMV in the announcements I would get low ratings and silly self-important comments from people who obviously hadn't even seen Death Note. Don't worry, once the initial surge of views from these people is over, then you should get more positive comments and better ratings since it would be Death Note fans searching for it in the catalogue. That's what happened to me anyway.

Yes, you're the boss, the reviewers aren't. By all means improve at your own pace, and decide whether comments are useful or not.

By the way, when I first saw the video ( I thought "I'm a Death Note fan, I don't need to read any description" X3) I thought the video was told from Light's perspective for some reason, so L was "the beautiful day", and then when Light was dying he was saying farewell to the world. Whatever you intended, it still works whether it's all from Light's perspective or switches between L and Light.
