I think being a MEP whore earlier this year really helped me when it came to crunch time, this was done in about 3 actual hours of editing... I was sitting there encoding/rotoscoping while Callum had done 45 seconds already >.< but neway at the end of the day this is about a 3rd the length of his video but has 40 more segments ... yay for action ;_;

Gay song and boring anime, but nice editing and especially for just 3 hours and you even masked a few things so I guess you had quite a plan what you wanted to do . Now where is Callums video for comparison.

She could have edited a lot more if she wanted but she cut the song down before she started which left her no flexibility to edit more then the one minute she had. But I still rate this above most of the other vids that were shown on the day ^_^

EDIT: yeah that was pretty swee for a IC vid O:, me enjoyed it . Some parts were kinda off but meh. I was kinda surprised to see masking here to tell you the truth lol. Song was cool

overall, pretty nice vid and yay for action lol

well there were only 3 anime to choose from and there was no way I was going to use 5cms since Callum was and that movie is only good for sentimental amvs (well that's all that's been made) ... I also thought I'd have a better chance with Murder Princess which I've never seen but knew i could edit to from the previews.. I was right. Callum's soppy video is here

And it was still longer than some of the other vids... set goal and achieve it... also there's not much footage to work with in the first 6 episodes if you're trying to make a story out of a pretty mindless anime....

thanks chu, the masking was pretty easy actually the 2 scenes I picked, one of them had almost a completely white background (2 swipes of the magic wand on each frame and it was done) the other was a slightly harder pic to cut out... no AE was used on this all of it was done in Premiere Pro and photoshop for the masking
