I dont see the point in the text or the cookie cutter like effect(if ur using vegas youll know what that is)

also whats the point in adding screen shots to your thread?

the video had nice flow and all just he text and cookie cutter stuff got annoying

I had some problems. The song and the video didn't really go along, it kinda played out like your average Gohan vs Cell AMV (Plot summary =P). The syncing was nice, and I liked the text effects, that was rather pretty original for a DBZ vid. Some effects bugged me (I just really don't like how most DBZ vids nowadays has a shitload of effects), but they were ok. Props for being one of the few videos I've seen that doesn't end it with Cell being blown to bits and Gohan falling down.

But I really couldn't get into this vid, it seemed pretty stereotypical. So I'm gonna give this a 3/5

Lol in all honestly there wanst a point to either of these things. I maid the video more out of bordom then anything and after I got threw the opening I had nothing planned out. I was trying to figure out what to do for the rest of the video and saw something similar to that in a Mettalica video so I decided "hey that would be a nice way to get threw the verse quickly." Also the text has no real meaning, its mostly just whatever random text came to mind first.
I had no intention of making anything too serious, this video was just for fun.

Yeah the song and theme are completly unrelated. I just heard the song and had nothing to do so I grabbed the first footage available to me and went to work. This video could of just as easily had been to Berserk or Tenjho Tenge had my DVD folder been closer to me then my old CD-R's.
I think most vids these days try to use a "shitload of effects" as a way to cover up lack of orriginalty. The same things been done so many times that people are trying to find a new way to present it. As for myself, I just used the effects as a cheap way to get threw the verse as I had no interest in editing it

lol yeah, its still around. hmm lets see. quick history. Majin Mebs created the site in 99... eventually stopped updating it. He gave the site away to Corrupted Avatar who ran it for awhile, until he lost his media host, then left it un-updated for about a year, before giving it to me in early 03. I ran the site for a good while before closing in down on its 5 year anniversary. Then about a year later I re-opened it, realized I just wasn't a big enough anime fan to maintain a website anymore, and gave it away to a guy named Darth Unrivaled and hes been running it ever since. Oh yeah, also for a brief period of time somewhere during my reign as webmaster, Blood Sugar Productions took over Majin Planet resulting in the site having some 100+ music videos.

EDIT: lol, kinda reminded me of the old Times when I downloaded DBZ AMV's from DBarena =P Good Ol' times. Gewd Job, I enjoyed it ^_^ 4/5
