Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Dontator's Forum Iron Chef Vid. . .finally. @_@

So, in the beginning to middle of August, there was a donator's forum wide IC. (Or at least anyone in the donator's forum could participate. :P) I participated and amazingly, my vid got runner up. So I'm finally getting my my vid from that up. (Though I think I might be the only one who has. So I don't feel so bad. lol.) Anyway. So those of you who saw it, its more or less the same simplistic editing but with fixed sync and the more obvious lipflap fixed. The only thing that's different is I gave it the old time/silent film look I was wanting to give it for the IC but didn't have the time or sanity for. (In short, I actually spent time trying to make my footage look crappy.) For those of you who haven't seen it, its a depressing Hello Kitty vid in a simplistic silent film-like form! *^_^* Anyway, its nothing flashy or amazing, but hopefully it will keep you from being bored for 3 min. :P

Yeah, you are the only one to release yours. There'll be more, after AWA, for CDVV Mass Release Week. :P

Lol. Well, Hello Kitty and Friends and Hello Kitty Paradise are the overly happy that everyone knows. But Hello Kitty Animation Theater actually keeps somewhat close to the fairy tales its portraying, and therefore is a bit more morose than the other 2. (people actually die.) So that's why I used it for this. :D

I'm totally downloading this at this very moment :O

:edit: only thing that's my pet peeve about this is the 'theater noise' in that it gets kinda annoying after a while, but other than that I liked it *^_^*

4/5

I really enjoyed watching this and I was actually wondering when you were getting around to posting this up. Mine's still in the cleaning process.

Loved it, best use of Emo hello kitty. Lol...

Yeah, I kept messing with it to try and get the right amount of 'theater noise' (sometimes it was too much and sometimes I wanted it to have more so it looked intentional and not like I just have crappy quality.) I finally stopped messing there before I completely messed it up. lol. I might put up another copy of just the straight vid without the silent film effect. But we'll see. But I'm glad you like it other than that. *^_^*

lol. Yes, finally got around to cleaning it up and posting. I seem to be putting out a lot of dramatic "emo-ish" vids lately. Kinda weird considering I'm generally a happy, easy going person. I guess I gotta let it out somehow. lol. Anyway, glad you like it. And yes, you have to release your vid. Yours was one of the ones I really enjoyed. *^_^*
