Pas de Duex of the Heart - A Princess Tutu AMV

Post by Trouble The Cat » Sun Aug 12, 2007 1:46 pm

Title: Pas de Duex of the Heart
Song: Tuxedo Mirage (Music Box Version)
Anime: Princess Tutu
Author: Trouble the Cat

This is my latest work and my first AMV for this Anime. I still don't know how to get rid of subtitles, but I tried to make them work with the AMV in this one so hopefully it's not that big a problem.

Here is the helpful site guide on how to remove subtitles within your footage. I'll download and view the content itself soon.

EDIT:

Subtitles made the AMV look horrible. Viewers will be spending a lot of time reading the text, instead of looking at your video. Remove them via the guide above.

The song was fine, and I think that the video you were going for it fell short. THe scenes looked random. If you were trying to protray Princess Tutu's chracter as a kind and gentle person, always caring, you should have been more consistant in your scene choices, reliing more on Tutu rather than the other characters around her.

Video qualiy was poor. DVD quality footage works the best in any situration, and if you have issues with compression (WMV is pretty low around here), just send me a PM, and I'll gladly help you.

Overall, it needed some serious work and fine tuning, but I'm sure that you are more than capable of turning this into a beautiful work of art. My first few amvs were worse than this, so I know that you can make it better.

Actually if you get into the whole flow of it, it doesn't make it look TOO much more horrible. :P :P :P :P  .... aaah, I'll leave it heh. Well, anyway even if it was a perfect video with this concept s/he would have had to add subtitles anyway. Don't be so staunch about the obvious dude! Other than a few of the subs, I really liked this video.
